Today is the first Eastern View Club day, taking place during Advisory block.  Club cards will be issued by all Advisory teachers after attendance is taken. Due to testing, there may not be a PA  announcement.  Advisory teachers may dismiss only those students with a blue club card at 10:35.  Remind students they must go straight to their designated club location.  No stops on the way.

Not sure what you want to do after high school?  Why not take the ASVAB test? The ASVAB is a career exploration test for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students linking their skills and aptitudes to related occupations.  While the ASVAB is a required test to enter the military, you do not have to be interested in the military in order to take advantage of this opportunity. The test is free and will be given on September 19th at 8:00am in the Forum; please sign up on the EVHS Testing Website.

The PSAT will be given at EVHS on October 16th at EVHS.  All interested students must sign up on the EVHS testing website by September 16th.  All 10th grade students who register will test for free, 11th grade students have a $17 test fee to be paid in the EdTech office by September 16th.

Culpeper County Academic Booster Club began in 1992 to provide positive publicity highlighting student involvement in academics and extracurricular activities. Each week during the 2019-2020 school year, the Culpeper Star-Exponent will feature an Academic Spotlight article naming a deserving student with outstanding academic achievement in addition to school and community involvement.  Any student in grades 10-12 that made the honor roll within the past school year is eligible to apply. Currently, we are accepting senior applications starting today through next Wednesday, September 18th. Applications are available either online or in the EVHS library. Applications must be submitted online or to the library by 3:00 on the 18th.
