 Today’s Announcements:

All cast is called for a Guys and Dolls rehearsal tonight at 5:00. All cast and orchestra are called every evening during the week for production week. Guys and Dolls opens this Friday with a 7PM performance. On Saturday we have a matinee at 2PM and a final performance at 7PM.


Registration for the 2018-2019 school year is now open.  You can register through Student Portal. Make sure to take registration seriously!  Remember, take into account your four year plan and teacher recommendations, because schedule changes will be at a minimum once the year starts.  To learn more about course offerings, attend our curriculum fair on TOMORROW NIGHT, Tuesday, March 20 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the EV Gym.


This is a reminder to seniors - the local scholarship deadline is quickly approaching.  All materials are due to Mrs. Stone in the 11/12 office by this Friday, March 23. Please see Mrs. Stone or your counselor with questions.


Attention all Juniors and Seniors: Mark your calendars for Eastern View's prom which will be held on April 14th, 2018 from 8-midnight at the Daniel Technology Center.  Prom king, queen, prince, and princess nominations will be collected in the 11/12 office on March 26th, 27th, and 28th.  This is your chance to select any junior or senior to represent your class as prom royalty.  The prom court will be announced on Friday, March 30th, and you can vote for a member of the court during ticket sales April 9th through April 12th during all lunch shifts.  Ticket prices are $30 per person or $50 per couple.  Out of school guest forms are available in the 9/10 office and must be returned to Mr. Jamison by Wednesday, April 11.

Additional Announcements:

Current Juniors and Sophomores interested in applying to Coach Nougaret's Sports Medicine Class - applications are available in the 11/12 office and on the Counseling website.  They are due to Coach Nougaret or Ms. Mathieu by April 7. Please be sure to register for the course as well during registration.


Senator Mark Warner is inviting high school students and their parents to the 2018 Service Academy Day. Attendees will be provided a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission process. In addition, students will be able to meet with representatives from ROTC programs. This event will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10-1 at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville. Attention Seniors! The Culpeper Youth Basketball Scholarship is now available in Family Connection under Local Scholarships. Remember to check the deadlines on all the scholarship applications that you are applying for so you can get them in on time.
