The Eastern View High School counseling department hosted on-site college admissions for cyclone seniors last week. On Tuesday, October 24th, representatives from Shenandoah University and Radford University admitted 8 students to their respective colleges in the EVHS library. Students applied prior to the visit, and their applications were reviewed on-site with interviews taking place. In addition, representatives from Roanoke College were present on Thursday, October 26th, hosting students to apply in-person and receive their decision same-day.
Along with the on-site admissions, Eastern View students and staff celebrated Virginia College Application Week with a door decorating contest and college-themed spirit days. These exciting events encouraged students of all grade levels to explore their options of higher education in Virginia and beyond.
